Founded in 2007 and established in 2012, the National Institute for the promotion of health of Migrant populations and for the fight against Poverty diseases (INMP) is a public body that today serves as a reference center for the national network for socio-healthcare assistance issues related to migrant populations and poverty, as well as a national center for transcultural mediation in healthcare. Since 2019, INMP has also been a WHO Collaborating Center for scientific evidence and capacity building related to migrant health.
