Why is oral health important during pregnancy?
The importance of Prevention
Numerous scientific studies report the importance of proper oral health from the first months of pregnancy. Very common dental diseases, such as caries, can cause malformations or infections in the fetus starting from the first trimester of pregnancy.
A qualified check-up
To maintain the health of both mother and baby, it is essential—not only to follow a healthy diet and proper daily hygiene—but also to rely on the care and examination of a dentist starting from the first trimester of pregnancy.
How we can help you
The Salute Orale project aims to provide a complete initial dental check-up for pregnant patients with an ISEE (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) equal to or less than 20,000 euros. Patients can book a check-up and hygiene visit with participating dentists. The cost of the visit is covered by the project.
